- To prepare proposals, take steps requested before entering into a contract and manage resulting business relationships.
- To provide agreed services, communicate with clients and partners, and maintain appropriate business records.

Our lawful bases
We use personal information only where UK data-protection law permits us to do so. Depending on the context, our lawful basis is that processing is necessary for our legitimate interests in responding to genuine business enquiries and operating a responsible advisory practice; necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract or to perform a contract; or necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the purpose, necessity and impact of the processing and do not use your information where your rights and interests override ours.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only where necessary with trusted providers that support website hosting, enquiry delivery, Microsoft 365 email and business administration; with professional advisers such as legal, accounting or insurance advisers; and with regulators, public authorities or other parties where disclosure is required by law or needed to protect legal rights.
These recipients may act as processors under our instructions or as independent controllers for their own legal responsibilities. We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure an appropriate safeguard is in place, such as a UK adequacy regulation, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to approved standard contractual clauses, together with any additional measures required by law.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry and prospect information only for as long as it remains reasonably relevant to the conversation, normally no longer than 24 months after the last meaningful contact unless a longer period is required for a legal reason. Client, contractual, financial and project records are normally retained for up to six years after the relevant engagement or financial period, or longer where law, insurance or a legal claim requires it. Technical and security information is retained only for the period reasonably required by the relevant provider or for security purposes.
When information is no longer needed, it is deleted, anonymised or securely archived as appropriate.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to ask for access to your personal information; correction of inaccurate information; erasure; restriction of processing; portability; or to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. You also have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects. NORDINE | WSA does not use the website enquiry process for such automated decision-making.
To exercise a right, email michel@nordinewsa.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding and will normally respond within one month.
